The Portuguese Canadian Lawyers Association is an association of lawyers organized for the purpose of carrying on throughout Canada the following four objects: (1) To promote education among Portuguese Canadian youth; (2) To create a network and referral opportunities for members; (3) To advocate on behalf of the Portuguese Canadian community; and (4) To provide information and resources to community organizations.

Launch of our new website! The website has been redesigned to be easier to use and to better serve our community and the public.

The PCLA held its Annual General Meeting at the Ontario Bar Association on May 14th. After a report on the state of the PCLA, the many successful programs held over the last year, and a discussion of future plans, attendees voted in a new Board of Directors. The new board thanks the previous board for all their efforts and looks forward to continuing the PCLA's growth and success.
